With the Soccer World Cup just around the corner, a new campaign from Nike SB entitled "NAS 4UADRAS" (In Courts) honors the connection between the two sports played by millions of Brazilians: skateboarding and football. To celebrate these two sports, Nike SB adapted the Lunar Gato soccer shoe for skaters, joining technologies to meet the needs of both disciplines. With the lack of skate spots in Brazil, skaters have found that the various sport courts had what they were looking for and those who used the alternative spaces started a movement in the spirit of "do it yourself" where turning the goalposts over made the perfect rails and so forth.The leather model, in blue, was developed to have a wear and discoloration, indicating the level of usage of the footwear skate sessions. This technology was introduced in order to simulate the wear on the floors of the courts. The Lunarlon cushioning absorbs impact and outsole offers great grip for control skateboard.
